Is it Christmas time and you have teenagers to buy for? The truth is that this really is not a fun task at all. If the teenager on your list is a computer game guru or has an ongoing hobby then perhaps it will not be that difficult but if not this can be an awful task. Provided is a list that might be a welcome help if you have teenagers to buy for. Start with the big ticket items, this simply means that you are not concerned with prices. Clothes are usually a big success for teenagers but they have to be the right clothes, the right size and the right brand name. This can be tough but the favorites are jeans, sweaters, boots, ski jackets, hats, socks, and slippers. The trick is finding out which kind are best and that varies from teen to teen, style to style. If you have to buy for teenage girls regardless of their age, they always love barrettes, headbands, necklaces, bracelets, and perfume. Again, watch the perfumes because adults and teens don’t wear the same kinds. They love make up too!

If you have teenage boys to buy for then look for items that represent their favorite team, necklaces, cologne, and socks. These are usually winners. If your intentions include spending between £50 and £250 them look at watches, video games, video game equipment, concert tickets, tickets to sporting events, gift certificates to their favorite stores, CD players, or DVD players. More economically, if you are looking for gift ideas that are geared towards teenagers consider these, books, devotionals, calendars, picture frames or even photo albums, body pillows, desk accessories, cell phone cases,  movie tickets, journals or diaries, board games, age appropriate, of course, and 3D puzzles.

For an older teenager, especially for the girls, they would likely love to build a hope chest so start one for them by buying sheet sets, kitchen gadgets, and towel sets. Maybe the teenager is starting college in the near future, if so start or add to their college fund. Let others know that they are also welcome to add to this fund rather than buying useless gifts. If you opt for books there are some that will be popular even if the teen is not an avid reader such as Chicken Soup for a Teenager Soul, Harry Potter series, and Judy Blume’s books.

True enough, teenagers are all different and have various likes and dislikes. Most of these gifts are going to work for any teen if you just accommodate their particular style and interests. If the teen is not yours then ask the brothers or sisters rather than the parents because they will be much more likely to lead you in the right direction of what to buy.
